The weathered roof tiles and the little ticket booth window really sell the Old West feel, it's a fun build that looks great on the shelf. The mix of freight and passenger details gives it a story, and the whole thing came together without any frustrating loose pieces.
The mix of freight and passenger cars in this set gives it a real lived-in feel, and the station building itself went together without any frustrating loose pieces. I've built a lot of western-themed sets, and the way the platform and interior line up makes it stand out on my shelf.
The roof and platform details really capture that old Western frontier feel, and the freight-plus-passenger mix is a nice touch for display. Assembly took longer than I expected, but the finished station looks solid on the shelf.
