The whole layout around weapon storage and the command area feels way more thoughtful than your typical castle set, and the pieces clicked together with satisfying precision. It took me a couple of evenings to finish, but the level of detail in the armory itself made every minute worth it.
The little weapon racks and the command-area details really pull the whole armory theme together—my kid spent an entire afternoon rearranging the storage pieces. Assembly was straightforward, and the finished fortress feels sturdy enough for actual play.
The build itself is solid and the weapon racks look great once assembled, but the instructions skip a few steps that had me backtracking. Took me about two evenings to finish, which felt longer than it should for this piece count.
